Driving Course
Our Driving Education Programme supports drivers at every stage of their journey
We offer a Learner Driver Programme to help you get started, driving lessons to prepare for both your Restricted and Full licence tests, and a Defensive Driving Course designed to build safe, confident driving skills. The goal of our driving education programme is to assist individuals to ultimately achieve a Class 1 Full licence.

What we offer
Learner driver programme
Our course is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence you need to pass the Learner licence theory test. We cover the road code in an easy-to-understand way, provide practice questions and support you with tips and guidance to make sure you are prepared to sit your learner licence. This course runs for 5-weeks on a Tuesday evening from 4-5pm. Register or contact us for the next course dates.
Driving Lessons
- Open to all who have a valid NZ Learner, Restricted or Full licence
- Assessment drive provided
- Build confidence behind the wheel with support from a qualified driving instructor
- Vehicle with dual control provided for driving lessons and the test
- $80 per lesson incl GST.
Goals
The goal of our driving education is to assist individuals to ultimately achieve a Class 1 Full Licence.
Requirements
Available to anyone aged 16 years and over.
Defensive Driving Course ($250 per course inclusive of GST)
The Defensive Driving Course will give you the knowledge and confidence to be a smarter and safer driver. You’ll learn important defensive driving skills, such as assessing and identifying hazards to reduce the risk of being in a crash.
If you complete a Defensive Driving Course, you reduce the time you’re required to spend on your restricted licence by 6 months. (Over 25 it reduces from 6 months to 3 months.)
