Mother & Pepi

Mother & Pepi

The support service for mothers and their pepi targets those mothers who have no support network of their own (such as partner, family, etc). This service has a particular emphasis on Maori woman with babies aged between zero and two years old and their whanau.

Tips for parents in times of need

  • Remember the importance of routines, especially during times of crisis.
  • Keep regular mealtimes and bedtimes.
  • Spend quality time with your child/children
  • What children most need to hear is that the adults around them take care of and protect them
