At the peak of the immediate response to the February 2011 event Ngā Hau E Whā National Marae hosted up to 27 organisations on site at any one time.
At this point in time, we accommodate some of these same agencies as well as some others.

To the four winds and progeny. Te Rūnanga O Ngā Maata Waka, have placed the cloak of love and tears upon those whose whānau that have lost their lives in the earthquake. Therefore to those who have passed return and follow the footsteps of your ancestors that have passed before you.
